Practice Experience
Angela develops custom-designed retirement plans to help Caras & Shulman, PC clientele meet their long-term goals. She also provides ongoing third party administration services for retirement plans. She is actively involved with the annual IRS required compliance testing, asset reconciliation and forms preparation. In addition, Angela is a resource for plan trustees and participants regarding daily plan operation.

Angela works closely with various financial advisors, investment companies and plan sponsors/trustees to ensure smooth plan set up, design and ongoing operation. She also has experience working with the IRS and DOL related to plan audits and correction programs.

Angela started her career with Caras & Shulman, PC in 1998 as a staff accountant. Upon earning her CPA license she transitioned to the firm’s retirement department as an Administrator. From there she made retirement her main focus and has moved her way up through the department as Supervisor and now Manager. Prior to joining Caras & Shulman, PC Angela was an Auditor at State Street Bank (1996-1998).
